Last day

Today is L's last day of daycare. I don't really know what I want to say today. It's one of those days that I'm at a stand still. I have no idea how the. Ext few months are going to go with having L at home and working my business. It scares me but I'm optimistic. Today I went and ordered a new phone because I desperately need a new one. I am looking forward to getting it and setting it up. I wasn't going to get a new phone this soon after making a big purchase I just made. Charging my phone 3 times a day and not having any memory on it to take pictures or anything has just not been working for me so it was needed. This weekend is a very busy weekend for me and therefore my parents will thankfully be watching L tomorrow. Thank goodness for them! This is going to be a very short post today I appologize. As I said it's been a weird day for me.

Daycare no more!

So L only has a couple days left and then she is done with Daycare. I have such mixed feelings about this I took the plunge this year and a lot of things are changing for us I went full time with my business. So I stay home all day and work from home. L has gone to daycare since she was 1 and full time since she was 2. I feel like My daycare has raised her more than I have which is a very weird think to think and I kind of hate that I think that. It's basically the same as a kid being in school the teachers have your kids all day so they are the ones taking care of your children.

The plan was that at the end of June L would be done daycare and I would have her home with me for 2 months before she starts school in September. This is no longer the plan as Daycare needs to let her go now. So I will have L home with me full time for 4 months instead of 2 which in all honesty is fine with me. L is such a good kid and I'm looking forward to spending time with her and doing things.

The other thing that will be really nice is saving money Daycare is so expensive and I have L in one of the cheaper daycares but I end up paying $700 a month. I am looking forward to not having to fork that out each month and hopefully we can put that money away instead. Hopefully that will bring us closer to our goal of buying our own home.

I have a bunch of things planned for the first few weeks of no Daycare. L has been wanting to go to the library for a little while now so I think I will probably take her there one day next week. She loves books and reading so it could be pretty fun.

I also have a plan for us to go to a local indoor playground we have here which she loves. If we go in the morning between 10-12 They have a discount and free coffee so that's a bonus! I'm also going to see if L's little boy friend and his mom can go as well to make it more fun for her. We will see!

It's going to be different and fun all in one. I'm working on getting things organized and planned in the fact that I want to start doing a chore chart and rewards system with L. I was going to do it with a money reward but have since decided that I am going to do a ticket reward system. she earns so many tickets depending on what the task is and then She can cash in her ticket for certain rewards that will have different ticket costs. Its still a work in progress.

Wish us luck!

Crayola Bathtub Crayons *Wednesday Review*

Today's Wednesday review is Crayola's Bathtub Crayons. When I saw these in the store I was kind of excited I thought L will love these! L loves to colour so bath time and colouring just seemed perfect. So last night it was bath time and I decided to surprise her with them and try them out for the first time.

You get 10 colours in the package. There is a little clicking part on the crayons that allow you to move them up out of their plastic casing. I find with the plastic casing I like it but then I also found that the crayon was very wobbly in it so you can't move the crayon up too fast or they will brake off.
The Crayon has great colour and goes on pretty thick. They are basically actual crayons just in a plastic case. L loved these and drew all over the tub. She asked to draw on the tile wall so I told her to test it out in a little patch to make sure it would wipe off before we committed. When she drew she drew slightly in the grout between the tiles and we weren't able to get the crayon to come off the grout. So this should only be used on tile and bath and stay away from the grout.
After a while of drawing (even the adults were colouring) it was time to get out and clean up so here is the real test. The crayon was relatively easy to wipe off with just a wet paper towel. If you touched any of the crayon with your hands it would come off onto your skin but easily washed off.
The only issues with these that I found was that I have some pink left over crayon colouring that I can't seem to clean off of the side of the tub. So now I have a slight pink colour on the inside sides of the tub. It's not totally noticeable and I'm hoping in time it will come off. It was a little disappointing though to not be able to totally clean it up. I even tried using a mild bleach spray and that didn't help.
All in all I like this product but probably won't use it again We tried the crayons again tonight and it left marks on the tub that I am having a hard time cleaning up and since the tub has dried marks that I thought I had cleaned are now showing from the other day. All in all I would give this product a 3 out of 5. It's a lot of fun and well constructed but leaves marks in the tub which just isn't something I want.

Baking With Mommy *Tip Tuesday*

Tip Tuesday! Heres my tip if you want to bake but don't want to do a lot of clean up or don't have a ton of time Quaker Muffin Mix is what you need! I know there is always things like pillsbury products that you just roll out and they are ready for the oven, but my kiddo always wants to do more then just roll out dough. L loves to bake and make things so this gives a little extra for her to do. There are only 3 ingredients needed, Muffin mix, water and an egg. We always add chocolate chips but you could probably add fruit or something else to them as well.

We usually make a 12 muffins which is 3 cups of mix. There is enough mix to make 24 muffins. All you have to do is pour 3 cups of mix into the bowl add in the 3/4s water and 1 egg. Mix that all together and you are ready to add them to your muffin pan. We always add about a cup of chocolate chips give or take. L loves to be the one to crack the egg which I have to say she does a great job at. L basically makes them on her own while I watch her and instruct her on what to do next.

The next thing we do is take a ice cream scoop and scoop the batter into the muffin pan. The oven should be preheated to 400 already. Put the pan in the middle rack in the oven for about 15 minutes. The should have risen and look golden brown. Take a tooth pick and stick it in the muffin if you pull it out and there is muffin stuck to the pick than it needs more time if not its done.

Once The muffins are taken out of the oven I let them sit for about a minute or two and then I take a fork and flip them onto there side. I like my muffins to have a crispy outside so I flip them and then take them out of the pan and place them on a cooling rack. This gives them a great crispy outside.  Yummy Yummy!

In our house 12 muffins made this way usually last a day and a half. We usually don't have any muffins after the following morning. L has so much fun with this and she is so excited that she made something for us all.

This is just a fun quick and easy thing for us to do especially on a rainy day. The clean up is super quick and easy as there really aren't many ingredients and you are just using 1 big bowl and 2 measuring cups.

Quaker Muffin mic for the win in this household!

Weekend Update Monday!

Saturday

Woke up this morning and it is seriously cold and gloomy not really what I wanted to wake up to but I'll take it. It's better than not waking up at all. L had a bloody nose last night. She confessed that she had picked it in the night this is the second time it has happened this week. I'm happy she told me the truth thats a good sign.

The day ended up turning into a really nice day and warmed up a lot. L instantly put on her princess dress once it came out of the wash. She thankfully isn't as obsessed as my little cousin was. My cousin used to were her princess dress everywhere and all the time. Fingers crossed we stay this way.

We had a pretty relaxed day I had to work for an hour so L spent the hour with my sister upstairs While I worked. After I was done working we went outside for a little bit because L wanted to go outside so badly she was repeatedly begging to go. She would ask and I would say "In just a minute mommy is just finishing something." Well of course that answer wasn't good enough so the whining and persistence started. I swear she practices crying in the mirror she has gotten so good at it. Usually I just have to call her a drama queen or something silly and she will start laughing.

We went outside for a little bit and the little boy across the street was outside so naturally L wanted to go over and visit with him so my girl being the big girl she now is (she's 3 1/2) asked if she could go across the street as long as she looked both ways. I agreed and watched her. She would get to the end of the driveway and yell "NO CARS!" She would look back for me to give the ok and then she would run across the road. When did my girl get so big!

Sunday

Today we woke up on the wrong side of the bed well L did. I always love getting woken up to her whining and crying. Todays dilemma was that her PJs that she got from santa for christmas are starting to get too small. I'm pretty sure she has gotten a lot taller in the last few months. She got this one piece reindeer jammies that is super cute it has antlers on the top of the hood and it even has a little tail. I thankfully was able to resolve that dilemma pretty quickly and then it was time to get up and start our day.

It turned out to be a beautiful weekend. I had to go out to one of the local trails to do some work. L stayed with my parents while I did that and she was so excited when I got home. I got a bunch of big hugs. The rest of the day was pretty laid back we just did work around the house and just spent some family time together.

I'm That Mom

I don't know about you but I am totally that mom that documents everything when it comes to my kid being sick. I have pictures of every rash she has had since she was an infant. I have notes on my phone of temperatures that she has had and at what times. I am that anal mom who takes 20 pictures of rashes and things on my kid to show the Drs just in case.

My kiddo has had a few rashes in her days she's almost 4 and has had hives, postviral rash, eczema rash, severe bum rash, some bacterial rash I can't remember the name of from when she had a severe  runny nose, and she's also had a blister rash from amoxicillin. To many rashes if you ask me. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting a few in there as well.

This week has been fun L yesterday was complaining that she was feeling very cold. My sister noticed that she was radiating heat as she was sitting beside her so when we got home from dinner I took her temp. It was 100 so I gave her some medicine and a cool bath and put her to bed. This morning she woke up and I took her temp and she was 100. So I let daycare know she wasn't going to come in and I gave her some medicine. She was hungry so I gave her a slice of toast with butter on it which she ate half of. For most of the day we spent laying around on the couch and in bed every so often having spurts of energy. She drank a bit of water and juice. She had a cookie and a few cucumbers and cheese but that was basically it for her she didn't want to eat anything else.

It is now 2 am as I write this and she woke up about half an hour ago wanting a drink. She's been talking in her sleep all night. And I took her temp since she was already up and it was 103.1 yikes. More medicine for her and a cold cloth on her forehead and she's back asleep. I have written down everything about today her temps and what Time they were taken as well as how much medics I have given her. I have down what she ate and drank and what time I noticed a rash starting on her stomach. And then I thought OMG I'm that mom!

My family laughs at me for it but I know from experience with all of Ls rashes and what not that the Drs appreciate having the pictures to look at to see how things have progressed it there has been time between when a rash starts to when it is clearing up. It usually ends up that by the time we get seen at the Drs office her rash has gone down a lot all ready.

All in all I'm OK being that mom!

Giving options

I feel in my household that it's important to give my kiddo options when it comes to things like giving up toys. I don't want to just take things and give them away without her knowing I think it's good for her to make those decisions for herself. This is something that I have been doing with her for the last few years.

It all started with an overwhelming amount of stuffed animals that were taking over our room. I sat down with L and held a stuffy up and gave her the option to keep or get rid of. I was very surprised when she narrowed it down to just a few stuffed animals. We ended up getting rid of a whole garbage bag of stuffies!

Our next endeavour was to go through her toys. This one I was positive was going to be a struggle. I told her that the toys she didn't want to keep we were going to give to new babies so that they could have fun and play with them. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! another box of toys off to new babies and a less cluttered room! I can't believe how easy it really has been and even if she says she wants to keep something and I don't think its something that she will ever play with she is super easy to reason with.

Today we tackled her clothes. We went through every drawer and she said she wanted to keep or give away. There were a couple items that she was far to happy to give away because she hates them (jeans). Then there were a few things that she thought she wanted to keep but I didn't think she would need or would still fit so I would reason with her. Most of the time she will give in and give that item up because she will realize that mommy is right and that item doesn't fit with her age and what not anymore.

It makes me proud to think that L can make those decisions and she doesn't get overly upset if at all about getting rid of stuff. Basically I'm glad she's not a hoarder. I know myself I have a hard time getting rid of my own stuff. You always have that thought in the back of your head. What if I need that someday? That I am glad L doesn't have and I hope she never does.

Fitbit Blaze *REVIEW WEDNESDAY*

I used to have the Fitbit One and I loved it it was super easy to use and it did have a band for you to track your sleeping but I just found it a pain to have to take the one out of its case to put it in the sleep wrist band every night so I usually never used it to track my sleep. During the summer we went to the drive in and I had my one hooked on my bra like usual and when I got home it was gone. BOO!! I tried finding it but wasn’t able to so I had to get a new one Fitbit was awesome and gave me a discount to replace my One after trying to see if they were able to help me find mine so I decided to take the plunge and get the Fitbit Blaze.

I am in love with my Fitbit Blaze! I actually love that it is a full size clock face and not just a bar like the other Fitbits that you can get and it has an actual watch band whereas I have seen the other Fitbit wrist bands have a little toggle thing that you have to push through the band to get on which I feel like I would struggle with.

Now that I have it I love that I can track my sleep with my Blaze it automatically knows when I fall asleep by my heart rate and can tell when I'm in the different sleep cycles. The info on these cycles used to be very basic until recently when Fitbit did an awesome update. Now you can see more defined sleep cycle it shows you the curves of when you are in a deep sleep and when you are awake and it shows you what percent of each you are in during the night.

The Blaze has a feature where it will show you exercises and how to do them. It has a silent alarm to wake you up in the morning with out a loud noise. You can even change the song you are listening to on your blaze. Another feature I like is getting my notifications when ever someone texts me or messages me on my business Facebook page. You can customize this so that you can get notifications from all the available spots or just a couple. So lets say you have 3 email inboxes you could have notifications for 1 inbox or all the inboxes!

The main thing the blaze is used for is to count your steps of course. I was worried about the blaze or any wrist warn step counter counting my arm movements as steps. I am very happy that I haven’t found this to be an issue and I find it very accurate. I think it is also fun that you can challenge your friends and family to step competitions.

All around I LOVE my Fitbit Blaze and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a Fitbit.

Schedule

So I have started getting organized and one of the things I'm doing to do that is structuring my content/blog. This should help me keep on track and keep posting. So as of right now Mondays are going to be a weekend reveiw as I don't post on the weekend. Tuesdays I'm going to do some kind of tip Tuesday. Wednesdays are going to be a review day. I have one all ready for tomorrow! Thursdays I'm still figuring out what I want to do and the same with Fridays. Those 2 I'm still figuring out what I want to do. I think this will be a good mix of stuff so far and I'm going to try it out for a bit and see how it goes. You never know unless you try! I have started getting some review posts ready so I'm excited about those and I'm hoping to incorporate more images and stuff into my blog to make it more visually appealing. Change and structure are good. L will be home full time in a week and a half  so having some structure will help me keep on track while she is home with me. Sorry this is a short post but I just wanted to tell you what's going to be happening.

Easter Weekend

This weekend was Easter weekend! The Easter bunny started gathering things for L a few months ago as He didn't want her to get a bunch of chocolate. L was super excited that the Easter bunny was coming to the house.

This Easter was a little different for our family as this is the first year that my grandmother wasn't there (She passed away last year) and My grandfather is now in a home. My cousins also went to Disney this year so really Easter this year was very very small.

We ended up going out to dinner on Saturday night with the family we did have in town there was about 9 of us all together. L was the only child there and boy was she cranky! Basically every little thing made her go off crying. I feel like she practises crying in the mirror so that she can perfect it.

Easter morning L was up at 7am wanting to see what the Easter bunny brought her. I ended up getting her to stay in bed for another hour before she got to go see. She was so excited to see that the bunny had eaten her carrots and drank her water. We told her to see what the bunny brought her which was on the table beside her plate. She walked right past her stuff and walked into the living room looking for her stuff like there was going to be a tree with presents underneath as if it was Christmas. We had to call her back to the table to see her stuff.

Once L looked at her Easter basket we got ready and piled into the car. We went out to Brunch with my grandmother. L ended up eating mostly Strawberries and bacon. Brunch was pretty good they had a bit of everything. After brunch we went for a drive out in the country and just talked until L and I fell asleep in the back seat. I'm pretty sure pictures were taken I haven't seen them yet though.

When we got back to the house L went for some quiet time and then we went outside to play a little as there was a really nice warm breeze. Later on we went down stairs where the Easter bunny had left some eggs for L to find She sat at the bottom of the stairs telling us that she was sooooo excited and had the biggest smile on her face.

All in all it was a good weekend and L was very sad this morning that it was all over.

I love her!

I love her! L is the coolest kid I know. She is very quirky but in a good way! She has an obsession with pinecones as I have told you all in a previous post. She collects them and we have a big lantern cupboard thing that she puts them in she calls them a family and she says "I'm going to take them home to their family." She has been taking my old camera and wearing it around the house and taking pictures it's really cute looking back at what she has done. Seeing things through her eyes is definitely interesting. She is a very outdoor person and loves being outside all the time if she could you would spend everyday outside picking up little stones and making a mountain out of them. She loves to be creative she loves drawing and painting and doing crafts. She also is sarcastic and often makes comments at the perfect moments that make us all burst out in laughter. She is my favourite person in the world. She is seriously the reason I keep going everyday. I honestly don't know where I would be today if I didn't have her in my life. My life wouldn't be as happy and amazing as it is now. I don't think I would have accomplished a lot of the things I have since having her. I love her!

Summer Plans

Summer Plans! I always have a lot of plans that I create and want to do but half the time they never get followed through. Well this year I am determined to do at least a few things on my list of things I want to do.

- Take L to the zoo for the first time! This could actually happen this year as we received a free child admission to the zoo with the purchase of an adult pass. So this is the one thing I really want to happen because I think L would have so much fun and she loves animals!

- Go to the butterfly Conservatory.

- Go Camping. This we are kind of doing I will probably count it as doing this but we have rented a cabin at a local resort. We will be spending our Canada weekend there and we are very excited to get away and do this.

- I want to relax with L a little and just spend a few days by the pool not caring about work or anything. Just the 2 of us having fun together.

- I want to read 2 books this summer. I should say I want to read 1 book because lets be real I never get time to read but I figure its better to give myself a big goal than a little one.

- I would love to go to my Aunt and Uncles this summer with L and spend some time with them L loves them and they think of her as their grandchild as their son doesn't have any kids but is L's god father.

Those are basically the main Big things I want to do this summer and I'm hoping to do at least the first 3.

Morning walk

Today we went on a lovely morning walk in the fog to get to daycare. L loves fog she says its her friend and talks to it as we walk. "Good morning my friend Fog" "look mommy my friend fog is here" she's the cutest! along out short walk to daycare the birds were out and L had fun pointing them all out to me. I love seeing that the trees and plants are starting to regrow and come out. As L would say Spring is BEAUTIFUL! There is a tree on one of the corners near our house that L loves because this tree has Pine cones that fall to the ground and she loves to pick them up. We currently have what L likes to call her pine cone family. I only allow her to pick up the pine cones that are on the side of the fence that we can easily get them I wont allow her to go into that persons yard.  After dropping L off at daycare I took my time walking home thinking about what I was going to write for today's blog. I also stopped a few times to take some pictures of different trees and things that I liked the look of. I would love to do more blogs like this where I take pictures of details and things and post them for you guys and I think that will be something that I will slowly start doing more of as the weather gets nicer and I spend more time outside with my camera. I'm super excited for this year and this summer. Last fall my dad decided that he wanted to ask my aunt and uncle if we could do a big family vegetable garden out on there property in the country and they said yes that we could. So I think soon we will start getting prepared to start this and I am very happy about it. I think it will be a great thing for L as well.

The decision has been made

So I have decided that I am going to blog Monday to Friday and then leave Saturday and Sunday as family time other job times. So weekends no blog posts will be posted and there will be blog posts during the rest of the week.

I think this will work out better for me all together. It will give me time on the weekend to figure out what my posts are going to be during the week and even get them started and or scheduled to post. It may even be that I have my Monday blogs be about what happened on the weekend if we did anything exciting.

We will see I just know I want to get this going as much as possible. I would love to post as much as possible as well eventually I think I may start doing theme blog days but for right now its going to stay pretty random.

I enjoy doing this and hope I can keep it up!

SO NERVOUS!

So today is the day it's my first in car driving lesson. I have only driven 2 other times in the last 2 years and that was in the country. I have never driven in the city and it scares the crap out of me. did I mention its also raining today! Gah I have butterflies! I know I will be fine and I'm going to do fine it just all makes me nervous. Thats the point of having an instructor to teach me how to do all this so I really shouldn't be that nervous cause she will be there.

I am however excited to get driving and learning so that I can get my license and have more freedom. I have had a car sitting in the driveway waiting for me for the last 2 years. I think its definitely time to get this done and over with and rip off the bandaid.

There is so much that this will allow me to do and I think I will feel better about myself as well. I will be able to just get out and go. Take L to do things on our own without needing anyone else to take us. Maybe I can even get L into gymnastics and be able to take her on my own so that it doesn't depend on what anyone else is doing.

Oh great now its snowing wish me Luck!

My Child is Nuts!

My child is nuts she's adorable and funny but she can be a nutso! We went to my sisters soccer game last night to watch her play because L wanted to go so badly she was jumping up and down in my face begging me to go so I gave in. L was in awe of the big soccer dome we walked into it was huge! We went and sat down on the bleachers near the field where My sister was playing and that when the nut cake came out.

We were sitting on the bleachers by ourselves for the first little bit. There is loose netting all around the field so that if a ball comes flying off the field it can stop it before it hits people. L was very hyper and I had a hard time getting her to stay in one spot which I didn't mind at the beginning as long as she was staying with in the perimeters I had given her. She went from the top bleacher to the bottom and back up to the top and was moving all around. She was jumping off of them and sliding on her belly on them.

My kid is a relatively good kid and listens most of the time.

People came and sat on the top bleacher behind us so I tried to reel L back in and keep her in a smaller space while watching the soccer game preparing for the ball to come towards us. At one point L starts yelling Daddy, Daddy, Daddy which she doesn't have and doesn't even know who her daddy is so I told her to stop being silly. After that a gentleman and 2 teenage boys come walking by us and L jumps out and growls at them scaring the gentleman and making him jump. In my head I'm laughing but mortified at the same time and I quickly told her not to do that that it was not nice.

By the end of the game she was using me as her personal jungle gym. Lets just say I was happy when the game was over but I'm also glad she had fun and I get that it's super boring for a 3 yr old to sit and watch a game so I don't fault her for that.

Movie in the sky!

As kids growing up my parents would always surprise my sister and I with going to "the movie in the sky", The drive in and we thought it was the coolest thing in the world we still do! I have been excited since L was born to take L to the drive in for the first time it is one of my fondest memories as a kid and I wanted L to have those memories of her own. So last summer my sister and I decided that we would take L to the drive in the first chance we got.

Instead of just going to the drive in we decided to make a day of it we went and got dinner and then we went early to the drive in and got a good spot. We then proceeded to go play mini putt that was attached to the drive in. so basically that day we did 2 things for the first time with L Drive in and mini Putt. The day we chose to go there really wasn't any real kid movies like animated ones so we ended up going and seeing Alice through the looking glass and Avengers. We made a bed in the back of my sisters truck with a blow up mattress and pillows and blankets. It was pretty comfy thats for sure. L was super excited for the whole night.

At this point we were trying to get L to potty train but she wasn't really into it yet and was still in pull ups. We were near the end of the first movie and L yelled I HAVE TO GO POTTY! So we ran into the concession and went to the potty and she actually went! I was so excited that we went and got her a treat on the way out. She ended up going potty again on the potty 2 more times that night.

By the second movie we were all pretty tired L had fallen asleep and I wasn't far behind her. I still haven't seen the end of the second movie or the middle really. I ended up waking up in the middle of the credits with L cuddled up next to me in the back of the truck she had drooled all over the front of my shirt. She slept all while I put her in her car seat and all the way home until the next morning.

I will never forget my girls face that day and how happy and excited she was. When I look back at the pictures you can see the twinkle in her eyes and the happiness.

She can't wait till the summer so we can go back and I can't either!

Gymnastics!

So this weekend we did something that L has been  dying to do since forever! We went to GYMNASTICS!! L's face was ear to ear smile and she was jumping up to down saying gippy gippy cause thats how she says Yippy and its the funniest thing. I have never seen my kid so happy it was really awesome.

This weekend was open gym day for kids to come to the gym and try it out go on the equipment and see if they like it and to be active. I was surprised at how brave L was and how much upper body strength she has that I didn't even know she has. The best part for me other than L's excitement was that it was FREE!

I was very happy with L and how well she did at the gym. There were some kids that were running around the gym wild running in front of kids and not waiting there turns even older kids, L stuck to the gym rules which was one kid at a time on the equipment, she waited her turn to go on it all and was just over all good.

In the gym they have a the big ropes hanging from the ceiling for kids to climb up and swing on L ran straight to it when she first saw another kid use it and swing from one block to another she HAD to do it as well. She waited in the line and when it was her turn she held on to the rope and freaked out slightly and then threw herself over the edge of the block to the next one. She proceeded to do this non stop for a good 10 minutes if not more.

L's next great feat was the trampoline. She has been on a trampoline before and loves jumping but the trampoline at this gym you can see through it all the way to the ground below and that scared her. I ended up having to go on it to show her that it was ok to go on. She ended up sitting down on the mat on the edge and slowly creeping onto the trampoline by herself she then stood up and started jumping and that was the end of it she wasn't scared anymore and kept going back to jump on it over and over.

We ended up staying at the open gym the entire time they were open so just over 2 hours and let me tell you when they hung up that giant rope tears were shed and my girl was pissed. L ended up huddled in the corner crying 1 because she was exhausted and 2 because she absolutely did not want to leave.

NOW I have to figure out how to make it work for her to go to gymnastics and actually learn cause she loved it so much and I think it would be great for her. It is now on my todo list of things that I need to figure out in life. It seems to be getting longer and longer haha.

Bedtime accidents

Aww my poor baby! L took forever to potty train she pretty much refused to for a while and that was fine I just kinda went with it tried to get her to try using the potty it was a no go. Finally just one day it clicked for her and she was done with pull ups. She has only had 2 accidents since that day and those were at daycare. When it came to bedtime I tried to give her a little more leeway with it and kept her in a pull up for a few months after she was fully Day trained. I started to notice that she wasn't having any accidents in her pull ups she was getting up in the middle of the night to use the potty it was all good behaviours that I was looking for her to start. So pull ups are now a thing of the past in this house. I do put an accident pad on her bed underneath her sheets just in case but I have only had to change it once and that was tonight. My poor girl came crying to me so defeated she had peed the bed. Poor thing was balling her eyes out she was so upset at herself. I told her it was ok and that accidents happen because they do accidents happen. It was probably my fault anyway we had stayed out later than normal and she was pretty tired and we forgot to get her to go pee before bed. My sister heard her crying and came to help. We took her wet cloths off her gave her a quick bath which she was also upset about and cried the entire time. I changed her sheets peeled the bed pad off which I still have residue stuck on my fingers from how sticky it was. Jammie's changed bed cleaned and she's asleep within minutes. I felt so bad for her but I knew there was no reason to get mad her for it what good would that do. Live and Learn! We will definitely be making sure that we go pee before bed every night and I may move the potty closer to her bed so there is less distance between the 2.

She's so sweet!

Oh what a day today has been! Today my dad asked if L and I wanted to go to the store with him. I of course said yes because your girl loves...
